Overview
Ensuring a Strong and Stable Future
Gifts to the Endowment Foundation are an investment in the future of The National Ballet of Canada. To ensure that the National Ballet maintains the highest standards of artistic excellence, a strong endowment provides stable financial support for generations to come.
The National Ballet of Canada, Endowment Foundation's funds are held in perpetuity. The interest derived from these investments provides guaranteed income to the National Ballet year after year. With this predictable and sustainable funding, the National Ballet will consistently achieve excellence, develop and support dancers, offer education and outreach programmes and take appropriate artistic risks.
Currently, the National Ballet's Endowment Foundation has received over $20 million through the generosity of private donors, corporate and foundation gifts and government matching programmes. The interest from investments is already providing a substantial contribution to the annual revenues of the National Ballet.

Named Funds
Establish a Named Fund within the Endowment Foundation to provide a lasting legacy of your commitment to The National Ballet of Canada.
In appreciation of your dedication, the National Ballet will provide continued acknowledgement of your Named Fund and your generosity in establishing it.
Named Funds can be established now with current gifts or later with estate proceeds directed to the fund through a directive in your will. A Named Fund may be designated to support a specific area of the National Ballet's activities that is of special interest to you, such as Dancers, New Productions, Touring or Education and Outreach. Funds may also be unrestricted to support areas of greatest need, or may be directed to new initiatives in consultation with The National Ballet of Canada.

A Tribute Gift is a meaningful way to celebrate your friends or loved ones today while helping to provide for the National Ballet's vibrant artistic future for years to come.
Celebrate a birthday, wedding, anniversary, holiday or offer congratulations, send a special thank you to a friend or make a memorial gift.
In making your gift, you are also supporting one of Canada's finest cultural institutions. Tribute Gifts are directed towards The National Ballet of Canada, Endowment Foundation to create a lasting testament of your generosity.
When you make a Tribute Gift, we will send a card to notify your friend or loved one of your thoughtfulness. If you wish, we will also include a special message from you. We will also send you a confirmation that the tribute was sent along with your tax receipt.
