Gala Performance and Evening
Get Ready for a WHITE HOT Night!
The National Ballet of Canada’s acclaimed fundraising gala will burn into Toronto for a fourth year this June, dazzling its attendees with incredible dance and amazing food.
WHITE HOT begins with a sizzling performance of short works specially selected by Karen Kain and performed by the National Ballet’s unforgettable dancers. This year’s spectacular repertoire includes the company premiere of Valse Triste by Peter Martins, featuring the final performance of celebrated Principal Dancer Chan Hon Goh, who is retiring from the National Ballet after 20 years with the company. 2009 Erik Bruhn Prize winner Elena Lobsanova and Corps de Ballet member Noah Long will dance Dénouement by Matjash Mrozewski, and Principal Dancer Zdenek Konvalina and First Soloist Bridgett Zehr will perform Christopher Wheeldon's Prokofiev Pas de Deux.
After the performances, indulge in delicious cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.
